Tasmanian pre- wedding video

Love. How do you know love? Do you see it when you recognise it? Recently, it was our honour to meet Zhuwei and Kavina: A beautiful couple from Singapore who travelled to the other side of the world for a unique pre- wedding cinematography experience in Tasmania.

There they stood, on weathered rocks as patient as their love for each other. At the ends of the world, miles upon miles of vast ocean before them.

The rain drizzled upon their crowns, the wind slapped their skin in such conditions that would make mere mortals scurry for cover. But not these souls. These souls stood steady, tall and proud.

Her flowing, orange dress blew in the cold wind. He held her close, a gaze in his eyes that spoke of generations before him, those men who had found that one special person to spend their lives with. A gaze of wisdom. A gaze of assurance. A gaze that only stoic warriors in love have seen, and can recognise.

Zhuwei and Kavina reminded us that love is patient. Love is standing together, during trials and adversity, to overcome any obstacle in our path. Love is weathering the storm. (Literally!) To witness the glow in each other’s eyes as they held each other close, her face nuzzled against her chest. As if the weather had changed suddenly and the sun shone radiantly from above, we forgot about the rain. We forgot about the wind.

In the way that only love can express, we all, at once, felt warm again.

Tasmanian wedding video Quamby Estate // Hannah + Anthony

Tasmanian wedding video Quamby Estate.

Like most love stories, this one began at a university campus.  One day, young Hannah was walking across campus (insert slow motion) and her eyes caught the gaze of young dapper Ant (short for Anthony). For a moment, they gazed upon each other with such adoration. He allured her with his charm and they fell in love.

Not really. It started in o-week.  For those who don’t know what that is, its “Orientation Week” for university students.  It comprises of cheap alcoholic beverages, loud music, pedlars handing out free food, and societies hoarding the masses to join their groups.

This is where Hannah and Ant really met. Their relationship blossomed and its takes us to where we are now, their wedding day at Quamby Estate in beautiful northern Tasmania.

Although hailing from Melbourne, they decided to tie the knot in Ant’s homeland at Quamby Estate. Ant grew up in Tasmania’s countryside, from the north to the beautiful sunny eastern shores of this tiny island state. We had previously met them in Coles Bay for the pre-wedding shoot ( and it was such an honour to be a part of their special day.

The preparations started with Quamby Estate. One of the most beautiful wedding venues we’ve seen. The idyllic luxury estate was surrounded by 17th century barns, golf courses, colourful enchanting gardens and period Anglo-Indian architecture. The girls kicked it back with glasses of champagne and food, soaking in the glorious sun.  After an ad hoc game of tennis filled with laughter and silliness, the beauties got ready for the Ceremony.

Five minutes away from Quamby Estate, the ceremony was held in St Mary’s Church. It was the same church where Ant’s parents got married; a hauntingly beautiful old gothic church, decorated
